Marcela Szurkalo
Dancer, singer and choreographer
Marcela started to dance when she was five, in her native city of Buenos Aires. She initially studied Argentine folkloric dances, for 20 years, including a skillful dance with 'bolas'. If you do not know anything about bolas, see an example in this youTube video, in this Pampas Devils show representing a collage of Argentine culture. Marcela went on to dance classical Ballet, contemporary dance and Tango.
She studied with many great masters, including the famous Mingo and Esther Pugliese. She took part in many dance formations in Argentina, including National folkloric Ballet, Ballet Brandson and New Argentine Ballet Company. She has toured the world, dancing and teaching Tango.
Eduardo Moyano
Dancer, actor and choreographer
Born in Frias, Argentina, in 1963, he started dancing Tango in 1990. He has studied with: Jorge Asprelli, El Pibe Palermo, Los Dinzel, Gustavo Naveira, Cacho Dante, Carlos Gavito, Tete, Carlos Rivarola, Osvaldo Zotto and Lorena Ermocida. He has worked internationally for many years, teaching seminars in Argentine Tango, as well as improvisational acting technique for theatre, in Argentina, Mexico and Europe. He has participated in many festivals and shows, including, New York, Paris, Germany, Switzerland and even Yemen.

Workshops
Marcela and Eduardo led two advanced workshops prior to the Milonga.
6.00-7.30pm Tango workshop.
Tango Salon and Nuevo, and their differences; how to change from one to the other seamlessly during the dance.
7.30-9.00pm Milonga workshop
Milonga, and how to dance it with style; use of 'traspie'.
